http://www.atdedit.com The site of ATD EDIT a fast text editor (cnc editor, g-code editor), for Windows, with a free trial version, seems to have plenty of features.

http://www.desktopcnc.com/ A site with lots of information on various makes of small CNC Mills and Lathes, have comparison tables for a quick look-up of facilities. Articles etc. Well worth a bookmark.

Another person who started with the foundry work to complete a CNC mill project.  Duncan is UK based and provides information on making a foundry from readily available items, shows both charcoal and propane heating methods and two varieties of burner.  


For North West UK viewers, who have an interest in this as a hobby and need to obtain the foundry materials, have a look below.

Engineering and Foundry Supplies (Colne) Limited. These people have been extremely friendly and helpful.
They can supply sand, refractory cement, crucibles, ladles, fluxes, etc .etc. etc. My own contact has been a Stephen Frost, one of the Directors of the company. The telephone number is 01282 868411. Fax number is 01282 867545
